Fang Cai, MAOM, LAc, Dipl OM, R.TCM-Derm

Fang Cai (pronounced “Fong Tzai”), partner of Meridian Health Solutions, is a licensed practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in North Carolina, nationally certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology, and has a specialty certification from the International TCM Dermatology Association.

Fang obtained a B.A. in Biology from Swarthmore College. She began to study Chinese medicine in Shanghai, China, and received a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture. She has been involved with various aspects of acupuncture research at academic institutions, but her primary love is figuring out clinical puzzles that improve her patients’ quality of life.

Fang sees a wide variety of internal medicine conditions. She has specialty dermatology training for issues such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis, and is passionate about helping people feel comfortable in their own skin. Her other specialties include eye disorders; nutrition, digestive and metabolic management; and women’s health.
