Fidel Goytia, MSAc, LAc, DiplAc
Fidel Goytia holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture with a focus in pain management & musculoskeletal disorders. Fidel originally hails from Juarez, Mexico, and is fluent in Spanish.
As of January 2026, Fidel has reduced his clinic hours and is not taking new patients. Fidel is referring patients to Ellie Blom and Michael Harding. In addition to their own training in pain managment, both Ellie and Michael have trained with Fidel in his unique style of Pain and Performance Acupuncture.
Fidel is a licensed practitioner of acupuncture in North Carolina and nationally certified in Acupuncture from NCBAHM. His focus in the treatment and prevention of injuries is fueled by a lifelong passion and involvement in cycling. He began cycling competitively at age 9, and signed his first professional contract with a team from Mexico at age 18. Fidel received a scholarship to study and race at Midwestern State University in Texas, one of the top-ranked Division 1 cycling colleges in the U.S., then expanded his sports medicine knowledge at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado.
Fidel’s extensive pain management and sport recovery experience ranges from helping the recreational weekend warrior to working with multiple Olympians and professional athletes of every discipline. Besides acupuncture, Fidel is proficient in functional mobility screens, manual muscle testing, kinesiology taping, cupping, guasha/scraping, and many other modalities that effectively address pain and the whole person.
