Michael Harding, MAcOM, LAc, Dipl AHM
Michael Harding is a licensed practitioner of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in North Carolina and nationally certified in Acupuncture and Asian Medicine by NCBAHM.
Michael graduated with a B.S. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Stephen F. Austin State University, then obtained a Master’s of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAcOM) from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas.
He has a passion for Chinese Herbology and for Japanese styles of Acupuncture, leading him to spend extensive time developing skills in both areas. Michael also often employs modalities such as cupping therapy, guasha, and moxibustion in his acupuncture treatments.
In addition to being a practitioner who sees a range of symptoms for general wellbeing, Michael is also one of our two primary fertility sepecialists. He sees patients for all aspects of menstrual health, including: irregular menses, PMS, endometriosis, PCOS, perimenopause, menopause, and fertility & pregnancy support.
Michael also treats all types of pain and neurological conditions: acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, autoimmune related pain, sports medicine, headaches & migraines, geriatric pain management, concussions, stroke recovery and neuropathies. He has extensive training in various musculoskeletal treatment styles, including Fidel Goytia's unique approach of muscle strength testing and muscle reactivation for injuries and recovery.
Michael's other specialties include: environmental allergies, dermatology, men's health, and support for LGBTQIA+ patients for both fertility and general health.
