Fidel Goytia, MSAc, LAc, DiplAc

Fidel Goytia holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture with a focus in Sports Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of pain management and musculoskeletal disorders. Fidel originally hails from Juarez, Mexico, and is fluent in Spanish.

Fidel is a licensed practitioner of acupuncture in North Carolina. His focus in the treatment and prevention of injuries is fueled by a lifelong passion and involvement in cycling. He began cycling competitively at age 9, and signed his first professional contract with a team from Mexico at age 18. Fidel received a scholarship to study and race at Midwestern State University in Texas, one of the top-ranked Division 1 cycling colleges in the U.S., then expanded his sports medicine knowledge at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado.

Fidel’s extensive pain management and sport recovery experience ranges from helping the recreational weekend warrior to working with multiple Olympians and professional athletes of every discipline. He is a therapist for the Honduran Paralympic Team in Paris, 2024! Besides acupuncture, Fidel is proficient in functional mobility screens, manual muscle testing, kinesiology taping, cupping, guasha/scraping, and many other modalities that effectively address pain and the whole person.
